The 2021 Le Carillon d’Angélus offers a mixture of red and black fruit on the nose, hints of cedar and clove, and even a touch of pain d’épices. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, a fine bead of acidity, good weight and freshness and a suave and very harmonious finish. I have remarked on the melioration of Carillon in the last two years, and this continues that trend. [Neal Martin, 05/12/2022]
