Comtes Lafon, Guigal, Lopez de Heredia, Ramonet, Selosse and More!
65 Years Of Wine
Hello Collectors,
We generally try to offer as much aged wine as we can, but there is often a limit. Beyond a certain point, provenance becomes everything, and we’re careful about what we bring forward. Every now and then, though, a special collector comes along with a cellar we simply can’t pass up. We know the diligence behind these wines, and we’ve had the good fortune of sharing many great bottles with this client over the past two decades. Today, we’re thrilled to offer a truly exceptional collection of beautifully aged wines.
Today’s offer hits plenty of high notes, starting with a superb collection of aged Comtes Lafon that should disappear quickly. Champagne also takes center stage, with strong quantities of 1999 Clos des Goisses, 2002 Dom Pérignon, Jacques Selosse Initiale, and 1996 Ruinart. We close that section with a 3L of 1999 Bollinger Grande Année—and a reminder that Champagne is best in big bottle.
Spain should not be overlooked either, with both aged classics and exciting new gems. López de Heredia brings two treasures from 1961 and 1970. Staying with mature icons, there is 2000 Único from Vega Sicilia, alongside Tumba del Rey Moro from Comando G. Chardonnay fans will be thrilled by the newly released 2021 Marcassin Chardonnay, plus several recent offerings from Ramonet. Volnay shows two of its finest faces with both d’Angerville and Lafarge, along with more than a dozen other gems throughout the offer.
