The 2023 Meursault Clos des Bouchères 1er Cru has an intense nose with touches of fennel infusing the citrus fruit, hints of crushed stone and slate. Very focused, with just a slight reduction. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, very intense and focused, sapid with a strict, tightly coiled finish that should mean it ages well in bottle. Excellent. [Neal Martin, 01/01/2026]
