The 2023 Meursault Clos des Bouchères 1er Cru has a cohesive bouquet with wonderful purity, but maybe the debuting Genevrières has a little more mineralité and bandwidth. The palate is very well balanced with lovely poise and purity, hints of praline and grilled walnut furnishing the persistent finish that lingers in the mouth. This will vie with the Genevrières in the future-it's fascinating to compare the duo. [Neal Martin, 01/01/2025]
