A more expressive and slightly riper nose freely reveals its aromas of white-fleshed fruit, especially pear, along with hints of citrus confit and floral wisps. The gorgeously textured and seductive middle weight flavors aren’t nearly as mineral-driven but the equally long finish is satisfying and balanced as well as less overtly austere. This is lovely as well though despite being in close proximity to the Vireuils, offers a completely different expression. [Allen Meadows, 06/10/2025]
