The 2023 Meursault Meix Chavaux hails from four parcels and is a little more austere than Roulot's other cuvées at the moment. It has a tensile bouquet, with touches of petrichor and flint. The palate is well balanced, with a vivacious opening, a keen thread of acidity, hints of stem ginger and impressive depth on the finish. I can see the potential here. This is one of Roulot's strongest Village Crus in 2023. [Neal Martin, 01/01/2025]
