The 2023 Chateauneuf-du-Pape Grenaches de Pierre opens with pronounced garrigue spice, white pepper, red plum, strawberry and licorice. Full-bodied and concentrated, the 2023 is immediately engaging from the outset. While its depth and structure clearly support extended aging, it shows no inclination to shut down, finishing elongated and smooth.
