Sebastien Caillat always tended to harvest this parcel on the same day as neighboring La Romanee, but for the first time, he picked the 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Grande Montagnea a few days earlier, when the grape clusters were smaller. The result is the finest Lamy-Caillat wine from this site to date, offering up aromas of minty pear, clear honey, freshly baked bread and nutmeg, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive wine that’s taut and mineral, concluding with a saline finish.
