The 2022 Nuits Saint-Georges Blanc Clos de La Maréchale 1er Cru comes from 0.6 hectares of Chardonnay within the walls. The nose feels slightly honeyed and may lack the energy I discerned on the 2021 last year. The palate is balanced with a creamy texture. It offers toffee-tinged pear and Golden Delicious with a touch of egg whites on the finish. Generous, but it will be a wine to drink in its flush of youth. [Neal Martin, 01/11/2024]
