The 2022 Volnay Les Mitans 1er Cru has a pretty, quite effervescent nose with Morello cherries, wild strawberry and wilted rose petal scents, delicate but with plenty of energy. The medium-bodied palate has fine-grain tannins, very harmonious and silky smooth, with a lacy structure on the finish. This is going to be VERY tempting in its youth. [Neal Martin, 01/11/2024]
