The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuees 1er Cru has a very attractive, quite intellectual nose with lively red fruit, crushed rocks, orange blossom and subtle tobacco scents. This has wonderful delineation. The palate is smooth and cohesive, with orange rind and Seville orange marmalade infusing the red fruit. An underlying note of white pepper and cracked black pepper lends spiciness to the finish. What a lovely, sprightly ingenue of a Les Fuees. [Neal Martin, 05/01/2023]
