The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Champs Canet 1er Cru has quite a stern bouquet with wet limestone and touches of shucked oyster shell. The palate is fresh with open strawberry notes infusing the slightly tropical fruit. This is a Puligny built for wide appeal with quite a persistent finish. Lovely. [Neal Martin, 01/05/2023]
