The 2020 Extra-Brut Orizeaux, 100% Pinot Noir on chalk, is redolent of white pepper, sage, mint, white orchard fruit and dried flowers. Brisk and salivating, the 2020 impresses with its energy and overall drive. Like so many 2020s, the Orizeaux has a slight vegetal undertone, but it is balanced by other elements in the wine’s fabric.
