2019 Domaine Taupenot-Merme, Corton Grand Cru, Le Rognet et Corton 1x750ml

The 2019 Corton-Rognet Grand Cru offers dark berry fruit, cola and dried herbs on what feels like a slightly alcoholic nose that blurs the edges. The palate is medium-bodied and very supple with a lactic entry-there s a smear of dark chocolate and heavy-handed use of oak that smothers the finish.
