The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Perrieres 1er Cru has a fragrant bouquet with yellow fruit, touches of orange pith, quite Chassagne-like in style. Well-defined. The palate is taut and crisp, lightly spiced on the entry, fresh with a twist of bitter lemon on the finish. Just lacks a bit of refinement at the moment.
