The 2015 Richebourg Grand Cru includes 25% whole bunch, the first time that this has been used. I found that there was a bit of reduction on this day. The palate is quite dense and grainy, a broody bugger to be brutally honest, quite spicy on the second half with touches of graphite lining the finish. Probably not the day it wanted to come out and show itself. Thibault and I chatted for around 10-15 minutes, swirling our glasses, but the reduction stubbornly refused to shift an inch! I’ll return and taste this down the line.
