The 2015 Brut Cuvée Spéciale Les Chétillons offers up a beguiling mix of dried fruits, herbs, smoke, graphite and citrus peel. Powerful and driving, the 2015 has a lot to offer. It’s an intriguing Chétillons, that is for sure. Today, the wine’s textural richness and savoriness are in a sort of tension with each other. It will be interesting to see which direction this ends up going, but the evolution this far has been quite positive. I am cautiously optimistic here, especially given the high extract.
