Surprisingly forward, the 2015 Hermitage Ex Voto is nevertheless a powerful, concentrated wine that will reward further cellaring. Full-bodied and rich, it reveals layers of spicy, meaty complexity, red berry fruit and a long, silky finish redolent of Christmas spices.
