The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes comes from several parcels around the appellation. I admire the bouquet here, very pretty with perfumed red cherries, crushed strawberry and subtle rose petal scents. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin. This is supple in the mouth with good acidity, upfront fleshy red cherry and strawberry fruit with a pinch of white pepper completing the finish. Recommended. [Neal Martin, 08/12/2016]
