Tasted from a sample prepared by Romain Taupenot. The fabled Clos des Lambrays has a lovely, feminine bouquet, great definition the new oak barrel well integrated with ravishing raspberry, wild strawberry and rose petals. The palate is very well balanced, the oak just a little pronounced at the moment but that will subsume itself into the wine, a slight meaty note towards the finish lending complexity. There are approximately 180-litres (220 bottles) available for the entire world. Tasted November 2010.
