2009 Domaine Bouchard Pere et Fils, Echezeaux Grand Cru 1x750ml

(estate bottling, from the high en Orveaux climat Dark bright red. Expressive aromas and flavors of redcurrant, iron, leather, licorice, stone and dark chocolate. Rich, silky and sweet but with lovely energy giving a crisp quality to the mid-palate. There’s a cool menthol element here that contributes to the impression of verve.
