Tasted at the Domaine. A beguiling nose of walnut, smoke, almond and honeycomb with superb definition and clarity, although you know there is more to come in bottle. The palate has a nice tension, a minerally core spanning out towards hazelnut, almond and a background hint of something exotic: elderflower perhaps? Turkish Delight? Complex and somewhat mercurial, but showing great length and class. Drink 2012-2025. Tasted November 2008. [Neal Martin, 11/01/2008]
