Inky ruby. Bright red berry and cherry aromas are enlivened by brisk minerals and fresh flowers. Spicy raspberry and cherry on the palate, picking up tangy minerals with aeration. I found the 2005 Crozes Hermitage Le Clos to be good, but with tart acidity starting to dominate. You could continue cellaring and hope for the best, but I’d drink up while there’s still plenty of fruit. [28/09/2017]
