The Road Less Travelled

Hello Collectors,

“Travel is about the gorgeous feeling of teetering in the unknown.” – Anthony Bourdain

When August rolls around, we are ready to flee our daily lives and invest time into exploring the world. Whether or not you are embarking on an epic voyage to close out your summer, we recommend you take a chance on teetering in the unknown of a wine region that might be new to you.

Our team’s keen eye for what’s next on the horizon has yielded some very cool finds over the last few months and we want to make sure you don’t let this ship sail without you. We invite you to the regions less travelled – verdant Galicia, the idyllic valleys Jura, Loire and Mosel, and stunning and remote Cuyo.

We still have a few bottles left of the rare Ganevat and Clos Rougeard bottlings (the 2018 Clos Rougeard Saumur-Champigny was tasted recently, reminding everyone that it is a masterclass in elegance, complexity, and sophistication), Egon Muller’s precisely beautiful Braune Kupp Riesling Kabinett, culty Adega Damm at a steal, Tempier’s classic Bandol Rosé, truly a year-round drinker; and the exceptionally ageworthy Pascal Cotat’s Sancerres.
