$300 and Under
Our Highest Rated Bottles
Hello Collectors,
The highest-scoring wines don’t always come with four-figure price tags. Today’s collection brings together some of the most acclaimed bottles from Bordeaux, Champagne, the Rhône, Italy, and California, with every wine priced at $300 or less. These are bottles that have earned their reputations through exceptional vintages, outstanding reviews, and consistent performance over time. Not surprisingly, Bordeaux and the Rhône are especially well represented. These remain some of the highest-rated categories we see at these price points, and today’s selection includes both beautifully mature bottles ready to enjoy and long-term keepers worthy of a place in your cellar.
Among the highlights are the 2019 Trotanoy, one of Pomerol’s most coveted wines; the beautifully refined 2020 Canon from an outstanding Bordeaux vintage; the 2013 and 2014 Louis Roederer Cristal, two exceptional vintages of one of Champagne’s most collectible cuvées; the age-worthy 2008 Ridge Monte Bello; the 2022 Paul Hobbs Beckstoffer Dr. Crane and Las Piedras, showcasing two of Napa Valley’s greatest vineyard sites; and the magnificent 2001 Chapoutier L’Ermite Hermitage, a mature Northern Rhône classic.
From mature Bordeaux and Rhône classics to collectible Champagne, Barolo, and Napa Cabernet, this is an opportunity to acquire some of the world’s most highly regarded wines without venturing into trophy-bottle pricing. As always, quantities are limited, and many are available in only a handful of bottles.
