Aged Burgundy:
DRC, Rousseau, Cathiard, Lamy & More
Hello Collectors,
La Paulée is almost here, and with both the San Francisco Gala Dinner on February 28 and New York on March 28, in true Paulée spirit we suggest one (or more) from our fantastic lineup of aged Burgundy currently in stock. If you’re looking to arrive with a bottle that commands attention, or quietly steals the evening, this is your moment to bring some truly unforgettable wines.
We have an exceptional selection of aged bottles with pristine provenance, ready to ship immediately or transfer directly to either La Paulée event. And if you’re not attending, this is an excellent opportunity to add beautifully mature vintages to your cellar.
The lineup includes benchmark Grand Crus from Romanée-Conti, including 2018 Échezeaux and 2013 and 2014 Romanée-Saint-Vivant, alongside profound Chambertins from Domaine Armand Rousseau, including 2004 Chambertin and 2012 Clos de Bèze. For those who appreciate fully mature Burgundy, highlights include 1996 and 1991 Clos de la Roche Cuvée Vieilles Vignes from Ponsot, Faiveley‘s 1993 Latricières-Chambertin, and Dugat-Py‘s 1996 Charmes-Chambertin.
Chambolle and Vosne are particularly strong, with multiple bottles of 2005 Les Amoureuses from Groffier, 2006 Aux Malconsorts from Sylvain Cathiard, and both Aux Reignots and Clos de Vougeot (2019) from Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux. White Burgundy is equally tempting across price points, featuring Domaine Coche-Dury‘s 2017 Bourgogne, 2018 Meursault Perrières from Pierre Morey, and Saint-Aubin Haute Densité from Hubert Lamy (possibly my favorite producer at last year’s Paulée!). Everything is in stock, impeccably stored, and ready to ship! For more information on the events and to see the weekends’ full lineup of events and producers, visit La Paulée’s site.
