Bin End:
Chave, Coche-Dury, G. Conterno, Pegau, Yquem and More
Hello Collectors,
You’ve heard me talk about my love for “last bottles” before, so I’ll spare you the full recap, but much to my surprise, we’ve got quite a few truly great wines still sitting around, just in very limited quantities. A handful of 98 -100-point wines, rare Burgundy with 95+ Burghound scores, and incredible producers like Chave, Coche, Fourrier, Roumier, and more… how can you really go wrong today?
For those who love picking up a fun bottle or two here and there, this is your offer. Every wine here is either highly rated, of serious pedigree, or both. There are plenty of great values and a few true blue chips. It’s rare to see Comte Armand’s Pommard Clos des Epeneaux (a benchmark wine for the village) alongside J.F. Mugnier’s Musigny or Méo-Camuzet’s Richebourg in the same lineup, but here we are! How about a 100-point La Conseillante next to a 100-point 3L of Pegau’s spectacular Cuvée da Capo? Or one of Roulot’s great Meursaults next to someone who drew inspiration from him (Morgen Long)? And don’t miss one of the true gems of Meursault and rising stars: Anne & Pierre Boisson.
There’s extraordinary rarity from Hubert Lamy, including the mind-blowing St. Aubin “Haute Densité,” from a tightly packed vineyard that yields incredible complexity and intensity. Top-vintage Barolo from Giacomo Conterno? That’s here too. How about the micro-cuvée blend of all the 1er Cru Volnays from Lafarge in 2021? (None of the 1er Crus were bottled separately that year.)
Despite a short list, this offer packs a serious punch. Move quickly -these are the last of the stock!
All wines are already in the US (no tariffs!), and with cooler weather finally here, it’s a great time to ship. Premier storage clients can enjoy complimentary, temperature-controlled transfers any time of year.
