Stars Come Out
Hello Collectors,
We’ve reached the midpoint of summer, which is hard to believe. There’s still plenty of time for beach days, cookouts, and travel, but there’s always the Friday List for your weekly wine break. And if you’re busy enjoying any of the above, remember that you can simply reply to this email with your order and let us take care of the rest.
We have a truly thrilling selection of Italian wines right now, and the bottles below are just a small sample. I cherry-picked a few personal favorites while also highlighting some of the highest-rated wines and best values currently available. We also have a knockout Champagne selection, with favorites like Cristal Rosé, Dhondt-Grellet, and Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé all featured below. Speaking of rosé, don’t miss the 2025 Domaine Tempier, which is due to arrive very soon.
Burgundy has plenty to love today, highlighted by a newly added three-pack of Fontaine-Gagnard’s 100-year-old-vine Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet. We also have another small, but mighty, allocation from Lamy-Caillat to go along with it. California gets its turn in the spotlight as well, with old-school favorites like Château Montelena alongside new-school cult producers like Dana. Add in some spectacular Pinot Noir from Steve Kistler’s Occidental, and there’s a lot to love in today’s offer.
