The Friday List
Cellar Treasures
Hello Collectors,
We’ve recently acquired a fantastic selection of well-aged bottles, all with impeccable provenance. When buying wines of this caliber, and because perfect storage is the core of our business, we feel it’s important to remind you how proper storage and transportation are paramount in preserving the integrity and provenance of these exceptional wines.
To help ensure your bottles remain in peak condition, we recommend using our refrigerated transportation service for delivery to your storage or waiting until temperatures are safe for shipping. We’re happy to hold your purchases at no charge until our fall shipping season, when conditions are ideal and you’re ready to receive them.
For today’s Friday List, we’re highlighting a range of wines with 15+ years of age — many ready to enjoy now, with others that will continue to reward additional cellaring: the glorious 1989 Haut-Brion, as well as an OWC of the legendary 2000, the stunning 1990 Margaux, 2 vintages of 100-point Pavie, for a total of no fewer than 11 99-100 point Bordeaux including a 100 pointer under $250.
Burgundy’s lineup is equally impressive: Clos du Tart, d’Angerville, Groffier’s Amoureuses, Ponsot’s Clos de Roche, all from the nineties and early aughts! A perfect bottle of Ganevat’s Mon Père, Barolo starting at $95 and 2 classic Californian producers round out today’s list. We’ve got over 200 aged selections on the site so be sure to browse everything!
