Heating Up
Hello Collectors,
For those of us in the Northeast, this week gave a sneak preview of summer, so it wasn’t easy putting together a Friday List without leaning heavily into white wine. Somehow, though, we still found room for some excellent Napa Cabernet, because we figured you might want something to pair with a great grilled steak. Still, today’s lineup very much fits the theme of what you’ll want to be drinking all summer long.
We loaded up on White Burgundy today, headlined by a brilliant lineup of Chardonnay masters: Antoine Jobard, Henri Boillot, Hubert Lamy, Jacques Carillon, Ramonet, Roulot, and William Fèvre. We really went after the very best. We cap off the whites with an outstanding selection of recent Dagueneau from Pouilly-Fumé, perfect for kicking off any great meal.
On the red side, we have Amoureuses from Comte Georges de Vogüé, along with brilliant rarities from Dujac, including Romanée-St-Vivant. Next comes a strong vertical from Scarecrow, paired with nicely rated bottles of M. Étain. We close with another terrific vertical from Vine Hill Ranch, a perennial favorite for its charming, Bordeaux-like style and excellent pricing.
Please join UOVO Wine this October for five unforgettable days in Bordeaux featuring extraordinary access, private château visits, rare wines and vintages, and exceptional dinners at some of the region’s most iconic estates, including Château Mouton Rothschild and Château Palmer, all timed just after harvest. Find more details here.
Our 2025 Bordeaux Futures campaign is underway! Over the next two months, we will be offering the best wines of the vintage at the best prices. It’s a thrilling vintage, combining a more classic, lower-alcohol style with the freshness and texture of modern winemaking. Prices do not include tariffs, as delivery is expected in 2028, and full payment is required at the time of order. Please email us here if you would like to receive first notifications of each château’s release.
