Dominus, Leflaive, Opus One, Roulot, Solaia and More!
Big Names, Small Prices
Hello Collectors,
There is still a very strong market for highly recognizable wines that don’t carry crazy price tags. Too often, people hear the name Château Margaux and immediately assume it’s going to cost $500–$700 a bottle. Today, though, we have a beautifully drinking vintage for just $400. If you know where to look, there are still plenty of noteworthy wines without the painful price tag, and that’s exactly what today’s offer is about.
The Super Tuscan category continues to ride a serious wave, with producers pushing quality higher and higher. Massetino, the brilliant second wine of Masseto, is a truly worthy counterpart at roughly a third of the price of its big brother. We follow that with a strong lineup of Ornellaia, a wine Bordeaux lovers should absolutely be chasing. No offer would be complete without Sassicaia and Solaia, and both are very well represented here.
To pair with the aforementioned Margaux, we also have 100-point Montrose and beautifully drinkable Pichon Baron. White Burgundy gets a strong showing as well, with an outstanding selection from Dauvissat, Domaine Leflaive, Henri Boillot, and Roulot including some very well-priced magnums. There are red Burgundy gems from Chevillon and Drouhin, too. California closes out the offer with ultimate classics like Dominus, Insignia, and Opus One.
