Cheval Blanc, Domaine Leflaive, Krug, Mouton and more
Big Names and Hidden Gems
Hello Collectors,
April is one of those great months when you don’t need to check the calendar to know it’s here. Baseball is back, the Masters is underway, and the weather has settled into that perfect window for all wines. Cool enough at night for reds to shine, yet warm enough for whites and Champagne to be truly beloved. We hit all those notes today in the way only Cellar Trading can.
Speaking of Champagne, Cédric Bouchard, Dom Pérignon, Krug, and Louis Roederer Cristal (and Rosé) headline a tremendous lineup of outstanding bubbles. All premier houses, all with off-the-charts scores—this is a tough group to beat. Domaine Leflaive brings its very best as well, including exceptionally rare magnums of Chevalier-Montrachet.
Today’s selection of reds spans the globe, led by truly epic Bordeaux from Cheval Blanc and Mouton. A pair of 2000 vintage standouts from Calon-Ségur and Haut-Brion will move quickly, too. New additions of Antinori’s ever-popular Tignanello lead into a high-scoring lineup of California reds from Detert, Schrader, Spottswoode, and Vine Hill Ranch. Burgundy rounds things out with both outstanding values and top names, including a rare showing of Comte Liger-Belair.
