Harvest Moon

Reality sunk in this week that we’re nearing the end of the year! Whenever I save my emails for our campaigns, I use the date of the promotion as part of the document title. Plugging in the word “October” suddenly had me thinking, “Where did this year go?” Fall has always been my favorite season, mostly because harvest is underway and the optimism surrounding a great vintage begins. Plus, we shift back into red wine drinking weather and head into our busiest time of year!

Today’s headliners are certainly going to grab some attention, as we kick things off with the two Merlot powerhouses, Masseto and Pétrus, including a 100-pointer from each! Speaking of powerhouses, we also have one of Burgundy’s great white wine titans, Domaine Leflaive, with quite a terrific selection. Add in a trio of mature vintages of Vega Sicilia Único and a super-rare six-pack of Keller from the vaunted 2021 German vintage, and we have quite the headlining group today!

Other highlights include a trio of top Super Tuscans from Ornellaia, Sassicaia, and Solaia, while Biondi-Santi, Gaja, and Valdicava round out an outstanding group of Italians. Bordeaux brings more thrillers from Léoville Poyferré, Montrose, Mouton, and Pichon Baron, while Burgundy follows with a slew of exceptional values from great names like Bonneau du Martray, Bouchard, Comte Armand, d’Angerville, Lambrays, Ponsot, Roulot, and more!
