Blue Chip Saturday Rolls On

Hello Collectors,

We live by the philosophy that if it “ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Blue Chip Saturday has been a huge success, and we’re keeping it rolling. Fortunately, we have a steady stream of great wine coming in, which makes that easy. Today, though, we’re taking a slightly different approach—blue chips that don’t break the bank.

Burgundy and Italy take center stage, with a strong nod to top-tier White Burgundy. Coche-DuryComtes Lafon’s dazzling Meursault Perrières, and the unicorn from Hubert Lamy—the Haute Densité St-Aubin (with a whopping five bottles available)—lead the charge. Speaking of unicorns, there’s the super-rare Chambertin from Dujac, along with Mugnier’s Amoureuses and a nice pair from Rousseau. We close out Burgundy with two more stars from Vosne-RomanéeMéo-Camuzet’s flagship Richebourg and Cathiard’s magical Malconsorts.

Italy brings the heavy hitters, including one of the greatest Barolos money can buy—Giacosa’s Red Label Riserva. We finish with a tight vertical of Masseto that’s sure to move quickly.
