Cheval Blanc, Haut Brion, Latour, Margaux and More

Blue Chip Parade

Hello Collectors,

We’ve been on quite a roll every Saturday with a bounty of blue chips, and it continues this week as a Bordeaux edition, with some excellent Burgundy sprinkled in for good measure. These wines come from the same collection as yesterday’s amazing offer, but we held a few back to keep our Saturday tradition going. These are can’t-miss offers.

What makes today’s lineup especially exciting is the maturity that comes with it. Everything is 15+ years old, so for anyone looking for world-class wines for upcoming events, we have you covered. Three vintages of Margaux, two vintages each from Cheval Blanc, Lafleur, and Latour, plus 2000 vintage offerings from Ausone and Haut-Brion (in two sizes as well)—this is a can’t-miss group from the west coast of France.

Burgundy is all about the top vintages too, with a pair of Richebourg from the red-hot Jean Grivot in 2005 and 2010. You can’t go wrong there. We close with a pair of Romanée-St-Vivant bottlings from two great, often overlooked producers: J.J. Confuron and Lucien Le Moine. Both hail from the legendary 2005 vintage and carry modest price tags relative to other RSVs, making them very smart buys.
