To start, we recommend taking advantage of tasting opportunities like La Paulée, attending your local UOVO events, as well as staying current with subscriptions to Wine Advocate, Vinous, Jancis Robinson, Burghound, and other influential critics. Take a chance on an under-the-radar producer, try a region or grower that may feel intimidating at first, and don’t rule out social media – finding out about and following collectors and producers that you admire or are curious about can be a valuable resource for hearing about new releases, events, and impromptu gatherings.
