The NV (2016) Extra-Brut V.O. (Version Originale) sizzles with tension. Fresh lemon peel, mint, graphite, crushed rocks, slate, mint, white pepper and jasmine race across the palate. Vibrant and steely to the core, the 2016 is superb. This is a decidedly vibrant, steely edition of the V.O. As always, this cuvee is a blend of east-facing, low-yielding, mid-slope parcels from three vintages, in this case 2016, 2015 and 2014. Bottled with no dosage. Disgorged: October 30, 2023.
