The NV (2019) Extra-Brut Rose is pure and total seduction. Rose petal, cranberry, menthol, cinnamon, spice and dried flowers all build in the glass. Rich and beautifully layered, the 2019-based Rose is superb. Readers will find a Rose of real dimension, structure and class. Dosage is 1.7 grams per liter. Disgorged: July 21, 2025. From a bottle disgorged in December 2018, Selosse’s NV Brut Rose is based on his V.O. blend, with the addition of Pinot Noir from his friend Francis Egly. Bursting with scents of dried fruits, white cherries, beeswax and spices, the wine is full-bodied, broad and fleshy, with Pinot Noir phenolics only amplifying the chalky, mineral signature that defines the V.O.a making for a remarkably vinous, gastronomic Champagne.
