The NV (2017) Extra-Brut Mareuil-sur-Ay Sous Le Mont is exquisite. Exotic and perfumed, the Mareuil is so expressive in this tasting. Kirsch, hard candy, mint, cinnamon and dried flowers open first. More exotic notes of apricot and passion fruit follow. This is a decidedly exotic Sous Le Mont, a wine that begs for a second and third taste. I especially admire its ethereal, elusive personality.
