The 2024 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Saint-Georges 1er Cru was not spared the onslaught of the season and reduced to three barrels. Nevertheless, it has admirable purity on the nose with redcurrant, pomegranate and touches of bergamot tea on the nose, a little more mineralité underneath. The palate is very harmonious and silky smooth. Beautifully balanced with a fine backbone towards the finish, albeit without a sustained aftertaste. Still, this constitutes just a lovely Les Saint-Georges. [Neal Martin, 01/01/2026]
