The 2024 Gevrey-Chambertin Cherbaudes 1er Cru, one of the last vineyards picked, has an expressive, more sensual bouquet with wilted rose petal infusing the brambly red berry fruit, hints of graphite and mulch-like scents. This has real character. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, red fruit laced with white pepper and a touch of bay leaf fanning out gently towards the finish.
