The 2022 Extra-Brut Les Noues is a total stunner. Even disgorged à la volée with no dosage, the 2022 is wonderfully complete, so much so that it tastes like a finished Champagne. Pinot Noir is so expressive here. Broad, ample and creamy, with superb persistence, the 2022 has so much to offer. Pear, ginger, dried flowers, mint and a gentle kiss of French oak fill out the layers. I can’t wait to taste this in finished form. This was the first fruit harvested in 2022, picked at 11.6-11.7% potential alcohol. Dosage will be around 1.5 grams per liter. [Antonio Galloni, 05/31/2026]
