2022 Domaine Gerard Mugneret, Vosne-Romanee Premier Cru, Les Suchots 1x750ml

The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru has quite a conspicuous oyster shell/cockle shed influence on the nose with lively red berry fruit. More undergrowth aromas evolve in the glass with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, again, a noticeable marine influence at play here with a delineated, rather strict finish that will require 4-5 years in bottle. Very promising.
