The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes 1er Cru is one of Pascale Mugneret’s gems, and this is no different. Very pure and sensual on the nose, it blossoms from the glass with animated red fruit laced with crushed rock and rose bush. The palate is medium-bodied with impressive concentration. This cuvée will need time for the oak to be subsumed, but the finish has a wonderful length. Excellent. [Neal Martin, 01/11/2024]
