2022 Domaine des Comtes Lafon, Meursault, Blanc 1x750ml

The 2022 Meursault Village comes from five parcels plus some de-selected fruit from Les Perrières and Les Charmes. It has a light bouquet at first, opening in the glass with hints of dried honey and quince mixed with grilled almonds. The medium-bodied palate shows commendable purity and touches of tropical fruit mixed with white pepper. Nicely focused with quite a persistent finish. Very classy. [Neal Martin, 01/11/2024]

There is enough reduction present to render the nose difficult to assess. Otherwise, there is good punch and precision to the acceptably dense flavors that display good if not special depth and persistence on the slightly firmer finale. [Allen Meadows, 06/10/2024]
