2022 Domaine Denis Bachelet, Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru, Les Corbeaux Vieilles Vignes 1x750ml

The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Corbeaux 1er Cru has a striking bouquet, very estuarine – a nose that evokes memories of frolicking on the mudflats in the Thames when I was a kid. Very fine delineation and focus. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins at the moment. Plenty of black fruit, very sapid, gets the saliva flowing on the finish.
