The 2022 Pinot Noir Cincuenta y Cinco hails from a single plot in Mainqué, Río Negro. Following its 50% whole-cluster fermentation, it underwent aging for one year, with 1/3 in used barrels, 1/3 in amphorae and 1/3 in concretes vats. Displaying a bright, ruby-red hue, the Cincuenta y Cino reveals a wide range of layered aromas: rose, damp earth, cherry and even a distinctive hint of arugula. Dry and taut, the textured and nimble mouthfeel leads to a long, sexy finish. This is a delicious Pinot Noir. [Joaquín Hidalgo, 02/20/2024]
