“With the dark green label that marks the top end of the Borgo del Tiglio portfolio, the 2022 Collio Studio di Bianco is a blend of 40% Friulano, 35% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Riesling that spends 10 months in barrel. This is an exceptional white wine, one of the best made in Italy, with energy and tension that is played across a complex bouquet. There is a patchwork of floral (gardenia) aromas, stone fruit, peach cobbler, honey and custard cream. The wine’s mid-weight texture closes softly with pretty textural definition.
