The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Blanc Clos de la Maréchale 1er Cru was reduced to three barrels because of the frost that affected the Chardonnay twice as much as the Pinot Noir. It offers beeswax and Clementine on the nose, a little resinous in style, with hints of dried honey and almond. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, quite rich with a creamy texture. Ginger notes appear towards its persistent finish. Fine length. Enjoy this over the next 8-10 years. [Neal Martin, 01/05/2023]
