The 2021 Malvasia Italo & Bruno is youthfully understated in the glass. Swirling unlocks depths of young peach and sage complicated by lemon oil hints. It’s silky, nearly oily in feel, with texturally ripe orchard fruits offset by mineral undertones adding a more tactile sensation toward the close. Crisply refreshing and resonating with green citrus and a salty flourish, the 2021 finishes with great length and a bit of a bitter twang. [Eric Guido, 04/18/2023]
