The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Vieilles Vignes, which contains a little whole bunch, has a tightly-wound bouquet with dark berry fruit, incense and touches of sous-bois. The palate is medium-bodied with an edgy, peppery entry. Quite structured for a Vosne-Romanée, the finish is reminiscent of a Morey-Saint-Denis. [Neal Martin, 12/16/2021]
